J1 and J2 visit Mona Monkey Sanctuary

Children from Junior 1 and 2 enjoyed a day trip to the Fundació Mona, a primate sanctuary located in Riudellots de la Selva, Girona. The centre, which rehabilitates chimpanzees and macaques recovering from their former lives as circus performers, television animals, and even pets, provided the children with a valuable learning experience.

During the visit, the children were shown where the animals had come from and how they are now being cared for at the centre. They had the opportunity to ask questions, observe the animals, and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of treating animals with respect and ensuring their well-being.
