Here, she was able to meet with Headteacher’s from other British schools in Spain, learn about changes within the exam systems and discuss potential innovations.
The conference also allowed Pearson to award a series of distinctions to schools. Kensington was recognised for having produced 6 Outstanding Learner Awards for the highest mark in Spain (5) and the highest mark in Europe (1).
This year, in addition to their Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards which recognise the highest marks in a given subject, Pearson have introduced a new 'High Achiever' award to celebrate learners' successes across a range of subjects. The High Achiever award is given to students who achieve 5 or more UK GCSEs/International GCSEs at grade 9 and 3 or more GCE A Levels/International A Levels at grade A or above.
