World Book Day in the Junior School         

The Junior School marked World Book Day with a range of engaging and memorable activities designed to celebrate a love of reading. Students arrived at school dressed in their pyjamas, creating a relaxed and cosy atmosphere that reflected the joy of reading at home.

A highlight of the day was a special reading initiative led by the Head of the Junior School. At various moments, a bell was rung, signalling for all students to pause what they were doing and read for five minutes. This shared experience encouraged a sense of calm and collective focus, reinforcing the importance of reading in everyday life.

The day provided a wonderful opportunity for students to immerse themselves in books, share their enthusiasm for stories, and further develop their appreciation of reading in a fun and meaningful way.
