Form 1 students enjoyed an exciting field trip to the Tordera River, where they took measurements of how the channel characteristics change downstream. They measured the river’s width, depth, wetted perimeter, and velocity, and also classified the bed load. Now, the students will create graphs and cross-sectional diagrams to analyse whether their findings align with the theoretical expectations.
