J1’s trip to Park Guëll fitted in perfectly with different cross-curricular topics that they are covering this term: Materials in science, ‘Houses and Homes’ in humanities and the study of a famous person, the architect Antoni Gaudí in history and art.

The children walked a total of four kilometres, exploring the natural forest area of the park as well as Gaudí’s magical constructions, often decorated with the colourful trencadis – broken tile mosaics.
