The current school site was purpose built in 1988. It remains a small school, with limited class sizes, making use of all available space. All this helps support the caring and nurturing atmosphere that is welcomed by parents and allows students to make excellent progress in a warm and friendly environment.

The school was designed to accommodate around 270 students, allowing for the family atmosphere the school is recognised for, to be retained. Constructed over four floors, every section of the building is tailored to the needs of its specific year groups. The Junior School on the first floor, Senior School classrooms and library on the second and the subject specialist laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology on the third.

The ground floor comprises of those facilities used by the whole school; gymnasium, theatre area, dining hall, ICT suite and administration offices. The school also provides an A Level Art students’ studio, SEND learning areas and a relaxation room for Sixth Form Students. Each year group enjoys their own space for break and lunch times and the school timetable is designed to ensure that Junior and Senior school can make use of these exclusively.

Physical Education classes take place primarily on-site using the multi-purpose sports pitch and gymnasium within the grounds. Kensington School also enjoys the use of the extensive sports facilities at the nearby municipal sports complex of L'Hospitalet Nord and municipal swimming pool at Can Caralleu which are both only a short bus journey from school.

The school is close to Exit 9 of the Ronda de Dalt and has a wide range of bus and metro links to areas across the whole city.

It opens doors to my future successful life.
