Our J4 students had a fantastic morning at CosmoCaixa, Barcelona’s world-class science museum.
The museum is one of the city’s most captivating venues, where science feels hands-on, playful, and beautifully presented, with interactive exhibits covering physics, astronomy, evolution, and the natural world.
A highlight of the visit was the spectacular Flooded Forest — a 1,000m² exhibit that recreates the Amazon ecosystem, housing live animals including piranhas and crocodiles, and offering an immersive platform for learning about biodiversity and environmental conservation.
Students also explored the Hall of the Universe, an interactive journey tracing the creation of the cosmos, the evolution of species, and the workings of the human brain.
It was a truly memorable trip that brought science to life in the most engaging way, and it was a wonderful complement to science lessons in the classroom.
