Junior 2 Students Study Dutch Artist Van Gough
The children in J2 have been learning about Dutch artist Van Gough and have been working within their Art studies to try to reproduce his artwork and style of painting.
On the 18th March they visited ‘The World of Van Gough’ exhibition at the Arenas centre in Barcelona. Information about the exhibit can be found at: www.vangogh.es/en/exhibition
J2 visited the immersive exhibition and enjoyed the feeling of being inside his famous pictures. We hope that the visit will have inspired students to learn more about the artist and discover their own inner artistic talent.
Back at school the children carried on their Van Gough studies and painted a picture inspired by Van Gough’s Almond Blossom.
