J3 students visited the Iberian settlement where they had a guided tour around the reconstructed homes of the villagers who lived there over 2000 years ago.
In their history topic they have been learning about the Celtic people who lived in Britain at around the same time. The pupils enjoyed the opportunity to see how the people lived and found out about the work that they did, noticing many similarities to the lifestyles of the Celts.
They ended the visit with a fun bread making session and saw how the bread was cooked in the oven. They also had a go at making sparks using flint and metal to find out how fire was made.
