Form 3 visit the Banksy Museum
From 3 have been studying the work of Banksy as part of their Art curriculum.Banksy is a England-based street artist, political activist and film director whose real name and identity remain unconfirmed and the subject of speculation.
Active since the 1990s, his satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stencilling technique.
Our students thoroughly enjoyed the visit as the artwork on display was relevant to the current street art topic The tour was excellent and informative and the guides were patient, very knowledgeable and great in their interaction with the students. They enjoyed the spray painting workshop and were able to produce some Banksy interpretation work of their own.
