We were delighted to host our first 'Culture Day' last Friday (10th February). With over 40 nationalities at the school, all represented by their national flag in our 'Garden of Nations', Kensington School has a rich cultural diversity that we are exceptionally proud to celebrate.
For over two hours, our students, staff and parents were able to enjoy a variety of themed activities whilst enjoying traditional cooking from a wide range of countries. English scones and Welsh cakes, Italian crostoni, Argentinian alfajores, Cuban congris, Bulgarian pogacha, Japanese mochi, there really was something for everyone; our most sincere thanks to all those within our community who supported the event and brought in these delicious items.
Music was a carefully curated playlist of representative songs from all our countries and this was played alongside a series of live performances, dances and songs and a most impressive tae-kwan-do presentation.
