Kensington School Sports Day

The three houses within the school, Lancaster, Middlesex and Victoria met for the annual sports day at the L'Hospitalet Nord complex. Senior school students from all three houses took part in a series of track and field events as well as other activities in order to obtain points leading to the coveted House Cup.

Lancaster were the House Winners for 2023 in an extremely close competition, final victory was determined by the final event of the day!

Lancaster: 421 points

Victoria: 416 points

Middlesex: 337 points

'Writing this message feels slightly surreal. I have wanted to be a Lancaster House Captain since my time in the Junior School, and being able to fulfil this wish in the same year that Lancaster has finally won the Senior Sports Day is a feeling like no other. I am proud beyond words of my fellow housemates, not only for their outstanding sporting achievements, but also for the spirit that they displayed. Every single person showed fantastic sportsmanship and determination until the very last second of the Teacher Egg and Spoon Race.

I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for Lancaster!'
