2025 Barcelona Model United Nations

In an era marked by rising geopolitical tensions, shifting alliances, and unprecedented global challenges, Model United Nations (MUN) plays an increasingly vital role in preparing today’s youth on how to navigate and improve our
interconnected world.

We were very proud of the 10 delegates who attended the conference this year. Through MUN, students step beyond the boundaries of national perspectives and learn to collaborate, negotiate, and problem-solve with a global mindset. The experience cultivates essential skills—public speaking, critical thinking, diplomacy, and empathy—while encouraging young people to appreciate the importance of international cooperation by addressing issues that no country can solve alone.

Engaging with complex global debates and practicing consensus-building, students not only gain confidence and leadership abilities but also develop the sense of responsibility needed to become informed, compassionate global
citizens.

We are delighted to congratulate Kian on receiving an Honourable Mention at the recent Model United Nations conference. Representing the United Kingdom at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), he was recognised as one of the top three delegates, an impressive achievement made even more remarkable by the fact that he was one of the youngest participants and attending his very first MUN conference.

Kian demonstrated exceptional confidence, strong research skills, and thoughtful diplomacy, standing out among far more experienced delegates. His success is a testament to his hard work and enthusiasm, and we look forward to seeing his MUN journey continue to flourish.
