Kensington Schoolmasters vs Kensington Parents

Wednesday 29th March saw the second game between the Kensington Schoolmasters and a team composed primarily of the cream of Junior School parents. The game of choice was football 5s and the venue was the Kensington School pitch. Whilst the game had been set up as a friendly, there were clear signs that no quarter was going to be given on the pitch. There were great passages of play from both sides but in the end, the Schoolmasters pulled ahead and won the match. The post-match claim that the parents had scored a goal after a call of “next goal wins” is still under review by the sanctioning body. The real highlight, as in the previous fixture, was the sumptuous post-game spread put on by Alexandre, father of Marco-Aurelio in J2.
