KENSINGTON SCHOOL TO ATTEND MODEL UNITED NATIONS

Kensington School, as a BISA member has been invited to attend the Model United Nations conference held in Barcelona in November. For three days, our pupils will debate, discuss, lobby and agree resolutions on key issues. Our selected ambassadors will represent the countries of Algeria, Barbados, Colombia, Iceland, Lebanon and Serbia at the General Assembly and the Disarmament Commission.
The event organisers expect there to be over 200 delegates from all across Europe. The conference represents an excellent opportunity for our students to meet and discuss key issues with students from similar schools and backgrounds and hone a range of skills that will prove useful in later years.
Students in Form 5 and the Sixth Form have already received a presentation on the MUN conference and received an inscription form. Kensington School has been allocated 12 delegates so we urge those students who are interested in acting as ambassadors representing the school make their interest known.
The conference will be held at the Hotel HCC Montblanc from 27th – 29th November 2013.
