HOW TO PROGRESS? DETERMINATION AND ENTHUSIASM

During this week´s Junior School assembly in the theatre Mr Evans was delighted to make the following awards as proposed by the classroom teachers. He explained that to make really pleasing progress in school pupils needed to concentrate on a few key points. Some examples given were participation in class, listening to the teacher, consistent effort and , above all, determination and enthusiasm. All of the children in the attached photo are making good progress at present due to them displaying the aforementioned charactertics. Well Done and Congratulations!

Nursery: Martha – for participating a lot more in class discussions

Reception: Richard – listening so carefully to class work about Spring

J1: Melania – for working with greater determination and enthusiasm

J2: Lucas – for working very hard in all subjects and making impressive progress

J3: Lucas – for making a very determined start to the new term

J4: Mina – for working with much greater determination and enthusiasm

J5: Petr – for making a huge improvement in grammar work as shown in his last assessment

J6: Sofia N – for fantastic effort in reading as part of Mr Voller’s group

Mrs Douglas Award: Alisa (J3) – for very good work on personal pronouns
