Children in Need 2013
Kensington School pupils, parents and staff all came out in support of the ‘BBC’s Children in Need’ event. The charity raises money to help children in Britain and around the world for over 30 years. Since its first televised broadcast in 1980, the charity has managed to raise over £600 million to help change the lives of disabled and young people.
Led by the Student Council, Kensington School was able to host a variety of events, including a Sponge throwing competition or encouraging pupils to come to school in fancy dress. It is with great pride that the total sum raised by the Kensington School community was a very impressive €1.394.00
We would like to thank all who took part and encourage everyone to prepare for the 2014 event where we hope to beat that figure.
