Summer Fête 2022
We were delighted to organise a whole school summer fête on Friday 10th June. Our thanks to all parents who joined us on the warm afternoon and we hope you enjoyed it as much as our students did.
A bouncy castle, a water slide, a bbq, fresh fruit, scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, ice lollies, live music, face painting and temporary tattoos, a soak the teacher stand and a bug hotel workshop....there really was something for everyone. For over two hours, the school came together as one and celebrated not only the Queen's Jubilee but also a slow but welcome return to normality after two very difficult years. It was a wonderful afternoon.
Our thanks to all the parents who supported this initiative in a variety of ways and to the teachers who were always on hand to help, supervise or run a stall. Special mention to Mr Voller as MC in the live music area and in particular to Ms Vicki Hewitt, whose vision and commitment made it all possible. See you again in 2023!
