Sixth Form Biology Field Trip

Student's were able to complete a core practical and apply the theory to a real situation. Providing every student with real world experiences in new learning environment, working as a team.

The A Level Biology students put theory into practice, studying succession in sand dunes by using quadrats and measuring physical and biological factors. A great way to develop valuable practical skills and bring the syllabus alive.

The students then used statistical analysis and data display to conclude their investigations and present their findings.

Being hands on in the field was a really valuable educational experience.
